Lolev Brewing has all the elements needed to make a hip brewery. Based in a trendy Pittsburgh neighborhood, the newly opened establishment is housed in an old, refurbished building, is rife with food trucks, and has humble beginnings.

It all started in the former home of Kennett Square natives Tedd and Scott Slesinski, writes Kristy Locklin for Pittsburgh Magazine. The brothers followed their passion for homebrewing in the lower level of their house, and the hobby has paid off.

The brothers have made major hops in the industry. Scott started out at Braeloch Brewing in Kennett Square, he now operates the 20-barrel brewing system in the 110-year-old building.

The former car dealership, gym, and beer distributor has ample space for guests to sip on mimosa flavored Saisons, dark chocolate caramel imperial stouts, and earthy IPA’s. It will also have a barrel-aging program.

Lolev Brewing opened earlier this month and operates between 4 to 10 PM Wednesday and Thursday, noon to 11 PM Friday and Saturday, and noon to 9 PM Sunday.
