Nothing is paired better with a murder mystery than a glass of wine. The Chaddsford Winery’s virtual “Wine Heist” murder mysteries will be every Friday night this upcoming January, writes Maggie Mancini for PhillyVoice.

A $100 pass can get six bottles of vino to sip on while you ponder the person behind the crime. Sales close Dec. 26. Participants must log on ten minutes prior to the event before being transported into the immersive mystery.

Participating households can interrogate suspects to gather clues, all while learning about the different wines along the way. Households that pin the murderer and the motivation will win prizes.

Wine can only be shipped to residents living in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Florida, Minnesota, Alaska, and Washington, D.C. Delaware residents must pick up their wine starting Dec. 27.

The Chaddsford Winery also hosts in-person murder mysteries that come with a five-course dinner, but all the events are sold out so far.
