Parenthood Has Reshaped Days for West Chester Couple, To Their Ultimate Joy
Erin and Matt Smith, who live in West Chester, found parenthood has completely reshaped their days, but neither of them would have it any other way, writes Anndee Hochman for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
When they first got together, the couple always knew they would have children, the only question was when. After marrying in October 2012, they took time to get MBAs, build careers, and buy a house. Seven years after the wedding, they were ready to expand their family.
Soon, Erin gave birth to their first child, Carson David, and in August this year, he was joined in August by his sister, Madelyn Brooke.
Despite no longer being able to attend daily barre classes or bar-hop with friends, the parents could not be happier.
“[Parenthood] solidifies where you are in your phase of life,” said Matt.
