Despite rising interest rates, declining inventory, and high home prices that are putting off some buyers, several ZIP Codes in the Philadelphia area are still seeing homes snatched off the market in record time, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
In fact, 13 ZIP Codes in the region had homes spend under two weeks on the market in June before being purchased. One of them is in Chester County.
ZIP Code 193433 (Glenmoore) tied for ninth place. Homes there spent an average of 13 days on the market last month. This is significantly under the 37-day median time for the market in Greater Philadelphia. The median list price of houses in Glenmoore in that period was $579,900.
Only ZIP Codes with at least five active listings were included in the ranking.
