Clover Market, which will pop up in Kennett Square on June 5, is a wonderland of high-end, artisan-made, and vintage goods that has everything from clothes and jewelry to tableware and furniture, writes Melissa Jacobs for Main Line Tonight.

There are also food trucks and live music to ensure there truly is something for everybody.

Clover Market was started by Janet Long in 2010. The first year it was held in Ardmore with 25 vendors. It has since grown to include four towns and more than 90 vendors.

Becoming a vendor at Clover Market can be a huge boost for a small business that can find itself catapulted into the retail spotlight. The main reason is Long’s careful curating of vendors for each season.

“When I review applications, I’m looking for product quality, craftsmanship, uniqueness, cohesiveness of design, the overall mix of sellers, and fit with the market’s aesthetic and what I feel will resonate most with our customers,” she said.

One of her original success stories is Zoet Bathlatier, which is now a thriving business in Malvern.

“It’s one of the things that I’m really proud about,” said Long.
