Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA), with its $20-per-hour starting salary, is a field employee position, working on all student days during the school calendar year.  

PCAs provide one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents with emotional and behavior disorders in the school setting based on medical needs of the client. Prompt intervention is also a key skill, to address issues of behavior management, conflict resolution, and anger management. Success in this role also hinges on peer interaction skills based on the IEP goals or behavioral treatment plan provided by school official or a Behavior Specialist Consultant.

Home and Community Support Provider – Coatesville, Malvern

The Home and Community Supports Provider (HCSP) is a direct service position (face-to-face). It provides services in the home and community settings to assist adult consumers in acquiring, maintaining, and improving self-help, domestic, socialization, and adaptive skills.

The position works flexible hours, making it ideal for college students and professionals seeking an additional income.

Two of the present openings are in Coatesville: One is Tues. and Thu., 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The other is 19.5 hours per week (including Weds.) over flexible daytime hours.

One of the positions reports in Malvern. It covers four hours per day over two days per week, with latitude given on the days and hours chosen.

Instructional Assistant (IA) – Kennett Square, PA

The Instructional Assistant (IA) position enhances school programs by supporting and working with students and school staff. It requires accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

The IA coordinates with teachers to work with students on content instruction, recess/lunch coverage, materials preparation, and general clerical/other school- or classroom-related duties.

Candidates must have at least two years’ post-secondary education or an associate degree
