CCRES, Downingtown, specializes in providing over 1,500 professional, dedicated staff members to meet the needs of children and adults challenged by autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. It works in collaboration with school districts, intermediate units, and the behavioral health system.

Behavior Health Technician (BHT)

The BHT hired for this opening will also enjoy a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

The role is a field employee position, providing one-to-one emotional and behavioral interventions to children/adolescents in need of Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS).

The opening represents an excellent job opportunity for a new graduate looking to start a career in which he or she makes a daily difference in the lives of individuals with special needs. Further, it is an enviable opportunity for retiree or career-move candidates seeking a flexible structure in which to work with children in schools, home, and the community.

In the course of the workweek, the BHT will provide one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents with behavior disorders in the school, home, and community setting based on medical needs; offer prompt interventions in behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills, based on treatment plan goals provided of a Behavior Consultant or Behavior Analyst (Master’s Level Clinician); collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.

The position requires a high-school diploma or equivalency; experience working with children is preferred.

Behavior Consultant/Behavior Analyst/BCBA

The right hire for this opening may also receive as much as $3,000 in a signing bonus.

This career opportunity seeks a candidate who can write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders. The disorders include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).

The position also provides assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the diagnosed child to take a more positive role in school, home, and community settings. He or she provides prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and/or school; and trains a Behavior Health Technician (BHT) on appropriate therapeutic interventions; writes Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).

Cases are typically authorized for 2–3 hours per week for each client’s family, based on medical necessity. A caseload of multiple clients is possible.

Mobile Therapist (MT)

Upon hiring, the new Mobile Therapist is authorized for a sign-on bonus of $1,500.

MTs provide individual and family psychotherapy in the home environment; insight into family dynamics; assistance in the development of adaptive skills for the client to take a more positive role in the family; and clinical progress notes and development of psychotherapy plan.

Working hours are after-school/early evening hours, usually with 1–2 hours per week for each client’s family.  A caseload of multiple clients is possible.
