Matthew Riddick, who grew up in Harleysville, is Executive Manager for IQVIA, a multinational company that serves the combined industries of health information technology and clinical research.

Riddick, who began working when he was 17 years old as a sales associate at Hollister, earned an associate’s degree in Liberal Studies from Montgomery County Community College, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Delaware Valley University, and a juris doctor degree from Villanova University.

At IQVIA, Riddick is responsible for being the subject matter expert on all products that the company’s business unit offers to the marketplace.

“I provide leadership on product operations, functionality, and availability,” said Riddick, who credits both of his Business Unit leaders at IQVIA for having the biggest impact on his career. “I enjoy being able to collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners on the development and implementation of new marketplace product offerings.”

Riddick’s proudest professional achievement is launching The Riddick Foundation, which works to bring awareness and advocacy to Black and Brown communities in the areas of healthcare, education, and mentorship.

“I was appointed the Global Communications Lead for IQVIA’s Black Leadership Network,” he said. “This initiative gives Black associates a platform to share, educate, and promote each other within the company.”

His favorite Chester County restaurant is Nectar in Berwyn.

Riddick and the rest of the 2022 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration held outdoors on Tuesday, May 10 at Penn State Great Valley. The in-person event will feature food trucks, drinks, touchless registration, a VIP tent, and boundless opportunities to network. It will also be live-streamed.
