The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is offering the “gift of health” to community members this holiday season, and it is available for free at seven of the association’s locations throughout Chester County.

From Dec. 26-31, YMCA branches will be open to the community to help everyone get a jump-start on their healthy living goals. The YMCA offers group exercise classes, state-of-the-art wellness centers, family and lap swimming, pickleball, open gym time, indoor tracks, and more.

“This time, leading up to the New Year is often when we’re reflecting on the past and looking forward to the future,” said Heather Bloodworth, vice president of membership and wellness.

“As you look at what 2022 might hold, we encourage you to enjoy this ‘gift of health’ from the YMCA to drop in and learn more about what makes the YMCA so unique. Whether you’re looking to get into a new fitness routine, enjoy family fun time, or just explore, we’re thrilled to provide this opportunity to our community.”

To participate in the free week, stop by a YMCA of Greater Brandywine location near you. A valid photo ID is required for all visitors over the age of 18. Learn more.
