Manufacturer of Custom-Fitted Golf Equipment Opens Location in King of Prussia

PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf), a company that designs, markets, and sells a line of golf products, recently opened a facility in King of Prussia that allows customers to get fitted and test out custom golf clubs, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Much of PXG’s business model is based on providing custom fits for their customers, which is why its clubs are not sold in big-box retailers. PXG has been aggressive about its brick-and-mortar expansion, with the goal of opening 13 more stores by the end of 2022.

The King of Prussia location has three fitting bays with a golf simulator that tracks ball flight. There is also a putter-fitting studio and a practice green.

Since opening earlier this month, PXG has done around 230 custom fittings, said Nick Jahnke, vice president of sales.

As golf has grown more popular during the pandemic, PXG plans to continue its expansion and attract customers with its unique, one-stop-shop model for all things golf.

“You can experience the full brand in one visit, and from top to bottom dial in every part of your golf game,” said Jahnke.
