A replica of a 1950s- or 1960s-style Tudor manor built in 1976 and extensively renovated in 2013 and 2014 has hit the market in Malvern for $2.75 million, writes Kennedy Rose for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The custom home — with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms on a four-acre lot — stands in stark contrast to the numerous Colonial houses and new construction in the area.

The home’s stone exterior and custom carpentry make it particularly distinct. The beautiful English cottage exterior is also accompanied by an updated interior that offers a mix of new and old, with many features having been inspired by European flair.

The home boasts a great deal of custom work inside, such as unique tiling.

“It was built to replicate an older home at that time,” said listing agent Maureen Greim of Long & Foster Real Estate.

Highlights include a renovated conservatory with radiant flooring, a chef’s kitchen with charming breakfast nook, and the pool area that has been updated with a waterfall feature.

And as a bonus, the property is surrounded by horse country, including several farm homes built in the 20th century.
