Before returning to Washington, D.C., for the week, President Joe Biden made a detour and stopped by Kennett Square on Monday for a happy occasion: his nephew’s wedding, writes Alexandra Jaffe for 6ABC.

The President and his wife, Jill Biden, visited the home of the president’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, where the wedding of Cuffe Owens and Meghan O’Toole King took place.

Cuffe Owens is an attorney; his now-wife is a former cast member from The Real Housewives of Orange County. She was previously married to retired MLB player Jim Edmonds.

In September, King shared an Instagram photo of the pair, captioned: “Meet my man.”

In addition to the President and the First Lady, the intimate wedding had a tight-knit guest list of 50 people.

Prior to the wedding, the President spent a quiet weekend at his home in Wilmington. Other than visiting church early Sunday, he mostly stayed in.
