Child Guidance Resource Centers is hosting the third in its series of roundtable panel discussions, this time focused on the Darby Borough community.

The public is invited to join the virtual discussion, “Let’s Talk About It: Darby”, Friday, Sept. 24, at 9:30 a.m.

These roundtable discussions, launched through the Child Guidance Neighborhood Safety Solutions Initiative, build on Child Guidance’s commitment for inclusion, anti-racism, safety, and mental health, building diverse and equitable communities,

Child Guidance Resource Centers is hosting these  virtual community round tables across Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia, and Montgomery counties.

The sessions bring together leaders, organizations and community members to discuss ways to better understand the needs of our neighborhoods and ways we can work together to build better communities.

The aim of the Initiative is to provide a space for all neighborhoods to hear from and ask questions to elected officials, community leaders, school representatives, clergy and more with a focus on collaborative, inclusive change.

Featured  panelists include Jennifer Hoff, William Penn School District School Board President;  Monique Boykins, William Penn School District School Director; Darren Burrell, Darby  Borough Councilman;  Joe Gabe, Darby Borough Police Chief and moderator Elgin Bailey from the Friends Association.

Child Guidance Resource Centers was founded in 1956 and continues to help 9,600 children and families annually who benefit from its 24 programs.

 Child Guidance Resource Centers has been providing services for those who struggle with autism, anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, depression, developmental disabilities, trauma, and truancy.

The organization provides life-changing therapies, and also teaches life skills for children and parents to succeed. We hope that this initiative will help our neighborhoods succeed and become stronger.
