Exton-Based All-Fill Collaborates with Local Company on New Signage
All-Fill’s eagerness to adapt has propelled it throughout the years and has been the catalyst for its explosive growth.
Since its founding in 1969 — when its initial offering was an economical, highly reliable auger filler for powder and liquid filling — All-Fill has always been preparing for the future, whether it’s a new business strategy, new machinery, or hiring new talent.
In the past six years, the Exton-based OEM (original equipment manufacturer) — which was the parent company of Auger Fabrication, Alpha Checkweighers, and Avatar Baggers — went from $18 million in annual revenue to more than $40 million. During that time, it acquired two companies: Re-Pack Labeling of Lansdale in 2018 and Palace Packaging of Downingtown a year later.
With all the brands All-Fill had acquired, there was potential for brand confusion. As a result, All-Fill underwent a strategic rebrand in 2020 to eliminate the names of all the brands and consolidate them under the All-Fill name.
“At first, we were hesitant to make such a bold change,” All-Fill CEO Ryan Edginton told OEM magazine. “But we realized that the brand equity was in the name All-Fill.”
Once the rebrand was complete, All-Fill needed new signage and enlisted the services of a local company. It turned to Pro Signs, a multifaceted signage company based in Downingtown.
Pro Signs delivered a new sign — with elevated channel letters mounted on a stainless-steel backer — at All-Fill’s headquarters on Creamery Way and facility at 4102 Edges Mill Road. The sign is meant to mimic the look of All-Fill’s iconic auger filler, which the company is renowned for, even as it evolves into a one-stop shop for clients’ packaging solutions. The channel letters also illuminate at night to give a halo effect to the logo.
“We enjoyed working with the marketing team at All-Fill on their multi-site sign projects,” said Tom Abbott, Sales & Marketing Manager at Pro Signs. “They had a clear vision of how they wanted the signs to look, and they worked with our project management teams to apply their conceptual design to a finished product. We visited the plant to get a better understanding of what materials to use to match their everyday manufacturing look and feel.”
All-Fill and Pro Signs were a great match from the start.
“Both are family-run businesses that take pride in their work and want to produce a great end product,” said Abbott. “We look forward to working with them on future projects.”
