Register now for the upcoming Arc Bubble Walk & Run, a virtual, 1-mile walk and 5K Run on Sunday, May 16.

The Arc of Chester County hosts the event as its biggest fundraiser of the year:

Arc is a nonprofit serving children and adults with disabilities and their families.

Communications Test Design CTDI is title sponsor of the Bubble Walk & Run for the second year.

“We have a long-standing partnership with The Arc of Chester County and it’s a mission we’ve rallied behind for years,” said Leo Parsons, President & CEO of CTDI.  “The Arc Bubble Walk & Run event provides an opportunity for the community to band together and support the most vulnerable in this pandemic.

“My hope is that we’ll have an even bigger show of support on May 16 championing loved ones with disabilities, demonstrating our resiliency and commitment.”

The Event

Walkers and runners set out 9 a.m., May 16 from their neighborhoods, separate but united in their goal.

They set up fundraising teams, joining corporate sponsors. Both contribute to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.

Last year, at the height of the pandemic, the community raised over $90,000.

Almost 200 registrants participated virtually.

This year’s goal is to raise $125,000 to support The Arc of Chester County’s vital and essential services and programs.

Where the funds go

Funds raised from The Arc Bubble Walk and Run 2021 will support The Arc’s programs and services, which include Advocacy, Children’s Early Learning, Family Support Services, Employment, and Agency With Choice for individuals with disabilities.

The Arc provides a lifetime continuum of services in Chester County to 3,000 individuals and families a year.

“With the incredible support of our title sponsor CTDI and the rest of our generous sponsors and loyal supporters, we can continue providing our valued and essential services to individuals with disabilities and their families,” said Jeanne Meikrantz, Chief Executive Officer of The Arc of Chester County.
