Take This Virtual Tour of the New Kennett Library and Resource Center

By

Great communities build great libraries.

Welcome to the new Kennett Library and Resource Center, a project that has been in the making for the last 20 years.

Via the video above, take a tour of this 21st-century building that will be open to everyone regardless of age, race, nationality, and social and economic standing. Some highlights include a 110-seat auditorium, a warm and welcoming conference room that honors Bayard Taylor, several classrooms, an outdoor terrace, and more.

Groundbreaking will take place this summer for an 18-month construction timeline. A grand opening is planned for December 2022.

Stay tuned to the Capital Campaign website for updates and ways that you can help support this transformational project.

Feel free to reach out to Mary Hutchins at mary@kennettlibrary.org with any questions on the new project or the Capital Campaign.

The Kennett Library is a part of the Chester County Library System, which was organized in 1965 to serve Chester County’s 760 square miles, 15 boroughs, 57 townships, one city, 14 school districts, and 500,000-plus residents.
