Expressive Path is hosting its annual Spring Fling fundraiser virtually again this year.

The April 23, 6 to 8 p.m. event, runs on Expressive Path’s Facebook page.

There are streams and audience participation.

Registering gives access to a variety of music while supporting the work of Expressive Path.

This year’s theme, ”Peace, Love, and Music” showcases new videos from local band Division of Power.

Students Creole Storm, Michelle Mariscal, and student band, Broken Never Fixed are also featured.

Emmie Benner, a student at Anderson School, will be performing a selection of punk rock and alternative music with her band, Broken Never Fixed.

There are opportunities to judge videos, play trivia, and participate in auctions and raffles, from the comfort of your home.

To share a homemade “Peace, Love, and Music”-inspired video or piece of art, email info@expressivepath.org.

About Expressive Path

Expressive Path is a nonprofit mobile organization providing free creative art and music workshops, art lectures, trips, and tours.

The activities are offered to schools and alternative programs, as well as the Montgomery County Youth Center, comprised of teens in shelters and detention.

Throughout Spring Fling, there are opportunities to meet fundraising goals through raffles and online donations.

By donating, you are opening up opportunities for local teens in art and music.

How teens benefit

During these challenging times, positive outlets through art and music are needed more than ever.

The arts motivate, inspire, cope, and relax.

Through your support, Expressive Path boosts self-esteem by creating opportunities, education, and the tools for teens to showcase their art in the community.

Your donations and attendance help keep disadvantaged teens on the right track!
