As Cases Rise, Check Out Where COVID-19 Has Spread the Most, Least in Chester County in the Last Seven Days

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Chester County is starting to rise once again, with some areas more affected than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code statewide for the seven days ending March 24, compared with the infection rates during the seven days prior.

The highest percentage increase in new cases in Chester County during this period was in ZIP Code 19352 (Lincoln University), which recorded an increase of 4.78 percent to reach 526 total cases.

ZIP Code 19460 (Phoenixville) is next with an increase of 3.82 percent, followed by ZIP Code 19465 (Saint Peters) at 3.47 and ZIP Code 19390 (West Grove) at 3.26.

ZIP Codes 19341 (Exton) and 19475 (Spring City) follow at 3.12 and 3.10 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, ZIP Codes 19350 (Landenberg) and 19365 (Parkesburg) each reported an increase of just 0.74 percent.
