King of Prussia-based Recovery Centers of America is currently on a hiring spree and is looking to fill 700 positions at locations across six states, including 63 of them in Devon, writes Kennedy Rose for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The company is hiring for full-time, part-time, and as-needed positions. The majority of openings are for skilled workers. These include registered nurses, nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, licensed practical nurses, psychiatric nurse practitioners, counselors, and recovery support specialists.

This hiring spree is the result of an increasing number of people looking for treatment for substance use disorders amidst a particularly difficult time during the pandemic.

“Social isolation and being cut off from a support network when you need it most, as well as factors like job loss and the availability of the powerful synthetic drug fentanyl, have made the disease of addiction even deadlier during the past year,” said RCA CEO Brian O’Neill. “We are asking all of you in the nursing and behavioral health fields to consider joining our RCA team and help us save lives every day.”
