Lansdale resident Dan Lynch left the corporate world to open a gourmet food truck, Roll ‘M Up, and help fight food insecurity in the community, writes Justin Heinze for Patch.

Roll ‘M Up officially launched this month and will tour both Montgomery and Bucks counties.

The menu is diverse and was compiled with some help from local chef Keith Taylor. It even includes a lengthy egg roll section and offers cheesesteak and buffalo chicken options, grilled wraps, jalapeno pepper empanadas, and much more.

But what is unique about this food truck is that it is a cross between a restaurant and a charitable endeavor. Lynch has partnered with Manna on Main Street and will be collecting non-perishable food items from its customers during events where the food truck will participate.

The items will then be donated to the food cupboard, which is working on ending hunger throughout the North Penn region.

Lynch is also donating food directly to the pantry.

“There’s so much food in this world, and somehow people in our own backyards don’t have enough to eat,” he said.
