Readying for Retirement, Coatesville Couple Puts Lake-View House on Market

With retirement looming for Dana Heavey, she and her husband, Bob, are getting ready to downsize and have put their gorgeous Colonial home with its lake view on the market, writes Paul Jablow for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Coatesville house is their second home, and they designed both of them.

“We love designing, and we have the same tastes, so it works out well,” said Dana, an IT business analyst.

The home is located on a cul-de-sac with a view of Chambers Lake and boasts some of the best vistas in Chester County.

There is an inground pool in the fenced-in backyard, along with a fire pit, plenty of flat area for play, and a sound system that also extends throughout the home.

The inside of the home impresses with the two-story entryway and charming kitchen with a large island that opens into the family room.

There are also many more highlights, including the lavish primary bedroom with en-suite bath, walk-in closets, and a gas fireplace, along with a balcony that overlooks the lake.

The house is listed for $749,900.
