Two ZIP Codes in Montgomery County are among America’s hottest neighborhoods for 2021, according to a list recently published by Redfin.

The analysis looked at ZIP Codes based on year-over-year growth in listing views on Redfin.

The majority of the hottest neighborhoods nationwide have something in common: they offer homebuyers respite from busy and costly cities amidst the pandemic. Most are also conveniently located within driving distance of one of the coastal hubs.

ZIP Code 19040 (Horsham/Hatboro) saw its median sale price increase 10 percent to $340,450. The number of homes sold climbed by 27 percent, with 43 percent selling above their list price.

Also, ZIP Code 18964 (Souderton) recorded a 20 percent increase in the median sale price to $323,000, a 42 percent overall increase in the number of homes sold, and a 51 percent increase in homes selling above their list price.

Bucks County’s 18951 ZIP Code (Quakertown) made the list with a $260,000 median sale price that represents an 11 percent year-over-year change. The area sold 12 percent more homes and saw a 40 percent increase in the share of homes that sold above their list price.
