Switchboard/Mailroom Clerk

This position provides efficient and courteous communication while in charge of the switchboard; sorts and distributes U.S. and interoffice mail in a timely fashion; transcribes and distributes accurate telephone messages; and completes and logs certified mail receipts.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; six months to one year of switchboard operator experience; experience with postal and mail services; strong telephone courtesy and customer service skills; and the ability to learn to use computerized equipment.

Librarian

This position provides guidance in finding library materials and general reference and advisory services; completes assigned projects in support of the library’s annual goals and objectives; assists supervisors with daily operations and provides reports; and assists in maintaining the library’s database.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree from an accredited college or university; a Pennsylvania state library certificate and one year of job-related library experience; working knowledge of the American Library Association Library Bill of Rights; and general knowledge of library science.

County Caseworker II

This position assesses situations to determine if children are at risk of harm in accordance with regulatory guidelines; assesses client needs to develop individual treatment plans; prepares timely written assessments, reports, and summations; and makes necessary referrals.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work and two years of experience in the human services field; basic Microsoft Word and Outlook skills; and a valid driver’s license and use of a private vehicle.
