Mark Your Calendar This Month for Chester County History Center’s Outdoor Market, Other Programming

The Chester County History Center.

The Chester County History Center will host a locally curated outdoor market featuring gifts, greens, wreaths, and more on Friday, Nov. 20 and Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9 AM-4 PM.

The market will be held on the History Center’s terrace and in Evans Alley.

Some of CCHC’s other November programming includes the History Matters Speaker Series on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 7-8 PM.

Join Chester County Archives Director Laurie Rofini for the virtual event to explore the First Women’s Rights Convention held in Pennsylvania at West Chester’s Horticultural Hall in June 1852. Among the rights the meeting claimed for women were the right to vote, the right to receive equal pay, and the right to study the sciences. Click here to register.

On Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1 PM, the Friends of Hopewell Furnace invite you to attend a virtual program entitled “Many Nations” with Director of Collections and Curator of the Chester County History Center Ellen Endslow.

Endslow will provide an overview of 300 years of immigration into Chester County. Click here to register.

Also, a virtual book discussion of Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by Doris Kearns Goodwin will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 10-11:30 AM. Click here to reserve your spot.
