Local Couple Returns Home to Get Married at Faunbrook Bed & Breakfast in West Chester
After living together in the Virgin Islands, Mike Petro and Sarah Fell chose to put aside pandemic fears and return home to West Chester for a wedding at Faunbrook Bed & Breakfast, writes Lisa Dukart for Main Line Today.
The couple met when Petro hired Fell at Triple Fresh Market & Catering in East Fallowfield Township seven years ago. Their relationship blossomed, and eventually, they decided to move to St. Thomas to work in food and hospitality.
After spending more than two years on the island – and surviving two hurricanes and five months without power – Petro and Fell decided it was time to return home last spring. At their going-away party, he popped the question.
They had planned a May wedding, but due to the pandemic, they had to move it to July and trim their guest list from 65 to 35. But once that was done, they were overjoyed to exchange their vows in front of their closest family and friends.
“There wasn’t anything that could’ve made us feel like we were in a pandemic that day,” said Fell.
