Child Guidance Resource Centers in Havertown celebrated Down syndrome Awareness Month in October.

Christine Yu, a therapist at Child Guidance Resources Centers and mother of an amazing daughter with Down Syndrome, joined one of the Child Guidance Mental Health #10at10 episodes to raise awareness.

She shared what it is like raising a child with behavioral health disorders and resources available to families and children with Down Syndrome.

Christine also belongs to a Delaware County Down Syndrome Interest Group, where she learned that many families are unaware of the resources available to them.

She is passionate about getting the word out so families have what they need to thrive.
