Chester County Home to Seven of the 11 Best Places in the Suburbs to Cut Down Your Own Christmas Tree

By

If you’re looking for the perfect Christmas tree to cut down with your family, you’re in luck, as seven of the 11 best places in the suburbs for the occasion are right here in Chester County, writes Lisa Dukart for Main Line Today.

Clark’s Christmas Tree Farm and Christmas Shop in Cochranville offers 35 acres filled with a selection of Douglas firs and spruce trees. In addition to the usual varieties, Marsh Creek Tree Farm in Elverson also features balled and burlap trees that will last beyond the holidays.

In addition to cutting your own tree, you can also grab some cider at Old Stone Farm in Lewisville. Meanwhile, Tricolor Tree Farm in West Chester offers a huge selection of trees on its 55 acres.

At Schmidt’s Tree Farm in Landenberg, you can choose between Douglas fir, Colorado spruce, and Fraser fir trees. Meanwhile, Wiggins Christmas Trees – with locations in both West Chester and Cochranville – offers plenty of acres to search for the right tree.

Finally, the more-than-two-centuries-old Yeager’s Farm & Market in Phoenixville provides both cut-your-own and pre-cut trees.

This year, masks and social distancing are required.
