Chester County Economic Development Council Welcomes Four New Board Members

The Chester County Economic Development Council has announced the election of four new members to its Board of Directors.

“One of CCEDC’s continuing goals as we entered our 60th anniversary year was to broaden the array of backgrounds that CCEDC’s board and staff bring to the table,” said Gary Smith, CCEDC President and CEO. “Our new board members draw from a cross-section of skill sets, experiences, and perspectives from Chester County’s leading industries, including technology, agriculture, and real estate development.”

CCEDC’s new board members are:

  • Mark Davis, Partner, The Atticus Group
  • Steve Figgatt, CEO, Sycamore International
  • Bill Hostetter, Grain Merchandiser, Hostetter Grain
  • Greg Reaves, Principal, Mosaic Development Partners

Davis has also served on CCEDC’s Ideas to Innovation (i2n) initiative and Innovative Technology Action Group (ITAG) initiative.

“Each year, the CCEDC team and the nominating committee work diligently to identify key stakeholders to join our board, who can supplement, support, and strengthen the critical services CCEDC brings to Chester County businesses,” said Marian Moskowitz, Chair of the CCEDC and the Chester County Board of Commissioners.

Each board member serves a term of three years. CCEDC thanked the following outgoing members of its Board of Directors for their valued service to Chester County’s business community

  • James Manser, Endo Pharmaceuticals
  • Ed McAssey, Lasko Products, Inc.
  • Bob Norris, Next Home LP
  • Dan Ostien, Colfax Corporation
