Wayne Couple Approaches Art from Different Perspectives in New Coffee-Table Book

By

Randall Brown and Meg Boscov.

Wayne couple Meg Boscov and Randall Brown offer unique perspectives on the world in their newly published coffee-table book, Hand in Hand, writes Lisa Dukart for Main Line Today.

“Randy and I have been hand in hand with each other for over 30 years now,” said Boscov. “It’s been really special that we can creatively work together. I think we’re inspired by each other.”

The book marries two perspectives, Boscov’s macro photography and Brown’s micro fiction.

Brown, a former English teacher at Jenkintown High School, has been writing micro fiction for years. Currently an adjunct professor at Rosemont College, he previously taught at Saint Joseph’s University and has received acclaim for his work.

Meanwhile, Boscov is a relative newcomer to the world of art. She is a former dog trainer who began by taking photographs of the animals she was working with. Her serious foray into photography started a year ago.

Once she began taking pictures of small detail through a macro lens, her husband started accompanying them with related fiction pieces.

This collaboration is now available in a book with 52 entries meant to be read one at a time over a year.
