Chester Springs Native Earns All-American Honors in Shortened College Lacrosse Season

Chester Springs native Jason Reynolds, a junior defender for the University of Richmond men’s lacrosse team, was named an Honorable Mention All-American for the shortened season by members of the media.

Reynolds, a Downingtown East graduate, is a two-time All-Southern Conference selection. He anchored Richmond’s defense, which ranked 16th in the nation in caused turnovers per game (9.29) and was 20th in the country in scoring defense (10.57). Reynolds also helped the Spiders finish the season fourth in the country in clearing percentage at 91.7 percent.

Richmond finished the regular season ranked No. 20 in the nation with a 4-3 overall record and a 1-0 mark in Southern Conference play.

Reynolds is majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance.
