Family Lives On, an Exton-based nonprofit that supports the lifelong emotional well-being of children whose mother or father has died, will host its 16th Annual Race for Traditions on Saturday, April 25 at Eagleview Town Center.

The event includes a 5K race, one-mile walk, and tot trot and supports Family Lives On’s Traditions Program, which provides family members opportunities to celebrate the life of a deceased loved one through the recreation of a cherished family tradition. The Traditions Program offers opportunities for intentional remembering and creates a safe haven for grief, communication, and celebration.

Registration for the Race for Traditions begins at 7:45 AM, and the race commences at 9 AM. The event also includes games, food, music, special guests, and more.

More than 400 people participated in last year’s Race for Traditions, which raised $31,000 that was used to serve children and teens through the Traditions Program.
