The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is an association of eight YMCAs that offer life-changing sports, fitness, and educational programs for children, families, and adults for its more than 80,000 members throughout Chester County.

Advanced Director of Aquatics (Jennersville)

This position oversees the management of lifeguards, competitive swim teams, swim lessons, indoor and outdoor pool operations, and pool safety; creatively promotes and increases swim lesson participation; and develops and controls department budgets related to aquatics.

The ideal candidate will possess bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a minimum of three years of aquatic management experience and YMCA director-level experience; Ellis lifeguard certification; and superior relationship-building skills, computer proficiency, and excellent communication skills.

Membership Associate (Lionville)

This position greets all patrons entering and exiting the branch facility and/or outdoor pool; answers the phone in a timely, helpful, and friendly manner; promotes all YMCA services and programs, including membership; and processes and maintains accurate memberships and program registrations.

The ideal candidate will possess good computer experience and excellent verbal communication skills; good customer service skills, including a friendly and positive demeanor; and some cash-handling experience.

Lead Preschool Teacher (Upper Main Line)

This position creates and implements lesson plans and maintains a safe learning environment for the children; maintains a healthy and engaging early childhood learning environment; and interacts with the children to encourage development and involvement in activities.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and 30 credit hours of early childhood or elementary education; a minimum of three years of relevant experience, and the ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs.
