The Uptown! Speaker Series will welcome back Ray Didinger on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 PM.

The beloved Philadelphia Sports Radio icon and author will present “Eagles 2019 Season: An Insider’s Perspective.”

Following the success of his previous engagement at Uptown! last September, Didinger will talk through the Eagles’ 2019 season highlights and what they mean moving forward.

Didinger has been covering sports for 50 years, with a focus on football for about half that time. With so much insight to share, he has become required listening on 94WIP for Eagles fans.

Raised in Delaware County, Didinger attended St. James High School in Chester. A Philly resident, he is a 1968 graduate of Temple University and a member of Temple’s School of Communications Hall of Fame. He wrote for the Philadelphia Bulletin and Philadelphia Daily News in his early career and is now the author of 12 books on sports, including three bestsellers and an autobiographical play, Tommy and Me. He has six Emmy Awards as producer and writer with NFL Films, was named Pennsylvania Sportswriter of the Year five times by the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association and is on the writers’ honor roll in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

With the 2019 season now over, the evening at Uptown! is sure to score big with Eagles fans. With so much to cover, from the preseason to the playoffs, Didinger will walk the audience through the tumultuous ups and downs from opening day, to clinching the NFC East, to the ultimate postseason letdown that was sealed by the overarching theme of the season: injuries.
