Joy Rosser, a sixth-grade science teacher at Kennett Middle School, has penned a new book she hopes will inspire other teachers to be better motivated and prepared when coming to school, writes Fran Maye for the Daily Local News.

Sharing Mindsets: Where Classrooms and Businesses Meet is a must-read for those who are looking for some inspiration to do better in life. The forward was written by former Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski.

Other successful business people from the area also provided insights for the book. They include Ed Herr, president and CEO of Herr Foods, and Andrea Gilbert, president of Bryn Mawr Hospital, among many others.

The book is divided into three areas that deal with the self, the heart, and generosity.

“The book is about helping people to be their best,” said Rosser. “There are inspirational messages for teachers, like teacher wellness, getting teachers to come to school more mentally prepared to work with kids. It’s more about the mindset.”
