Master magician Chris Capehart will bring his trademark wit and some of his most famous tricks to the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center on Feb. 29 at 7 PM.

With more than 40 years of experience, Capehart’s skills tell all in this one-night performance.

His original routines have been praised by magicians and accomplished street performers across the globe. He is a regular headliner at “Monday Night Magic” – the longest-running, off-Broadway magic show – and at The Magic Castle in Hollywood.

His most famous trick, the three-ring routine, has earned him the nickname “The Ring Master.” Perfected in 1981, this legendary trick has been deemed by fellow magicians as “the best of the best” and “the closest thing to real magic.” The routine is so revered that it was taught to other magicians in Volume 13 of the highly acclaimed series, Stars of Magic.

Capehart remains one of the few American magicians who has performed at the esteemed Magic Circle in England. Out of the 10 shows that he performed, he received eight standing ovations, an achievement almost unheard of in London. He was then featured on the cover of the premier magic publication Genii Magazine, where it took 23 pages to tell his story of triumph in the performance world.

Having gained experience on the streets of New York City, Capehart’s quick wit and sharp verbal skills make him an outstanding comedian. His two-hour showcase of magical skill and humorous dialogue is sure to provide a family-friendly experience.
