Assistant Director of the Writing Center

This position assists the Director in all areas of the Writing Center’s operation; helps with scheduling, supervising, and evaluating all Center staff; assists with Center outreach, including workshops for students and faculty; and participates in strategic planning for the Center.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in a relevant discipline and prior writing center administrative experience and/or professional writing tutoring experience; college level teaching experience; and knowledge of academic writing conventions across disciplines.

Assistant Sports Information Director

This position writes and edits news releases, game programs, and other sports-related materials; complies and maintains game statistics and results; coordinates staffing and press operations for home athletic events; and produces video streaming content for the athletic department’s website.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related discipline; strong communication and organizational skills; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Stat Crew statistical software, and NCAA Live Stats software.

Manager of Enterprise Applications

This position provides weekly and monthly reports on completion percentages, slippage rates, project status, and duration; determines project roles of team members based on project requirements; and manages the development and implementation of software enhancements and new releases.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related discipline; one to two years of experience with System Development Life Cycle and other methodologies for IT analysis; and experience managing vendors in a hosted/Saas environment.
