U.S. News and World Report has again ranked Immaculata University among the best in its National Universities category. Immaculata is one of only 18 institutions of higher education to represent Pennsylvania in that category.

Immaculata is also among the Top Performers on Social Mobility, a ranking of colleges that enroll and graduate a large proportion of disadvantaged students, typically from families making $50,000 or less per year.

“It is great to see Immaculata University recognized at the national level for the hard work and dedication of its students, faculty, and administrators,” said Barbara Lettiere, Immaculata’s President.

U.S. News & World Report ranks colleges and universities on six key indicators:

  • outcomes (35 percent)
  • faculty resources (20 percent)
  • expert opinion (20 percent)
  • student excellence (10 percent)
  • financial resources (10 percent)
  • alumni giving (5 percent)

With Immaculata’s extremely high retention rate of 85 percent and a student-teacher ratio of nine to one, students graduate prepared for a professional career or graduate studies. Several partnership initiatives, along with generous scholarships, allow undergraduate students to experience an Immaculata education at an affordable price.
