There are several charming spots in Philadelphia’s suburbs where people can enjoy some delicious tea and experience the global tea culture, and three of them are in Chester County, writes Katherine Nails for Main Line Today.

A Taste of Britain in Wayne adds a touch of Piccadilly Circus to the heart of the Main Line. Here, visitors can get afternoon tea throughout the day. They can also savor their drink with some of the delicious menu offerings. These include trendy items such as apple and brie panini and some English staples such as savory beef cottage pie.

Meanwhile, the bright and cozy Simpson House Tea Room in Chester Springs offers traditional high tea. The establishment has a knowledgeable staff who can guide visitors in their choices, be it for individual bites or curated experiences such as the Princess Margaret Tea for Two.

Finally, TranquiliTEA Temple in West Chester specializes in the synergy between tea and zen in Chinese culture. Owner Tracey Wang Stuligross learned the ropes from her grandparents, who ran a teahouse in China. In addition to the must-try bubble teas, the teahouse also offers traditional Chinese tea ceremonies.
