Diners at Downingtown’s Victory Brewing restaurant will soon be able to see the brewing operation even better during the evening, writes Fran Maye for the Daily Local News.

The brewery is modernizing its original location through a $500,000 expansion and renovation project due to be completed in May.

The restaurant will also have more seating, thanks to a slight adjustment to the brewery wall, some booth removal, and a change to the Brewmasters Booth. The famous Beer Hall mural will remain, and the room will provide the feel of a German-style beer hall.

A few cosmetic changes will be made to the bar, with more open space added, along with high-top tables and an extended bar rail.

Most of the work will be done during non-operating hours. It will also be closed for around a week later this month or in early May.

“We’re trying to make it more spacious and more interactive,” said Bill Covaleski, Victory’s co-founder. “The audience will have much better views into the brewery, and we will open things up to make it much more comfortable.”
