Pillar Real Estate Advisors has brokered the sale of the historic office building complex at the corner of Market and High streets in West Chester.
Pillar, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage based in West Chester, represented the buyers of the 30,000 square feet at 9 North High Street (the former First National Bank building) and 17 East Market Street (the former Turks Head Garage).
The interiors of these properties, which span three quarters of an acre, will be completely renovated to deliver office space suitable for the region’s premier businesses.
“Pillar Real Estate Advisors was very proud to represent the buyers of this historically significant property that encompasses a half-block in the heart of West Chester Borough,” said Eric Kuhn, Managing Partner with Pillar Real Estate Advisors. “We will be the leasing agents for the buildings and look forward to bringing professional office and high-end retail users of the space. They will be welcome additions to the vibrant downtown business community.”
The parking lot at the corner of Market and Walnut streets that accompanied the purchase is one of substantial size, which makes the entire property a standout location in the borough.
“The ability to offer parking onsite to professional office tenants during the day, as well as meet the parking needs of a full-service restaurant at night, is a game-changer,” said Kuhn. “Such scenarios are not common in the borough.”
