Phoenixville’s Stable 12 Brewing is releasing a new beer inspired by a cult song from the popular television show It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, writes Adam Hermann for the PhillyVoice.
Called “Dayman” after one of the musical creations of Charlie Kelly, one of the show’s main characters, the New England-style IPA will first be available at Stable 12’s brewery in Phoenixville on Sept. 10. After that, the beer will become available exclusively at Philadelphia’s Memphis Taproom on Sept. 12.
Fans of the show and good beer will be able to buy “Dayman,” a high-ABV brew at 6.5 percent, on tap and in four-packs. Both will be available for in-house consumption and to go.
While fans will be able to enjoy the beer before the show’s 14th-season premiere on Sept. 25, Memphis Taproom still plans to mark the occasion and promote the new brew with a themed party.
The process of making the beer was organized by Breweries in PA, a promotion company that connects beer aficionados with craft breweries across Pennsylvania.
