Other speakers include Matthew Riemer, co-author of We Are Everywhere: Protest, Power, and Pride in the History of Queer Liberation, on Oct. 30 and Nick Buettner, program director for the Blue Zones project, which identifies communities where people live to record-setting ages, on Nov. 13.

Also, Penn State Great Valley’s Henry Art Gallery hosts a new exhibit, “A Sense of Place,” showcasing the works of traditional and abstract artists from the Media Arts Council.
