Malvern Bank Supports Nonprofit That Funds Research to Find Cures for Childhood Cancer
Grainne Owen, founder of Curing Kids Cancer, recently presented a $100,000 check to Dr. Stephan A. Grupp, Director of the Cancer Immunotherapy Program at Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP).

Since its inception, the organization has raised more than $15 million and currently provides $2 million in grants annually to various pediatric cancer research organizations across the United States.
CHOP is a global leader in pediatric healthcare and one of America’s Top 10 pediatric cancer care centers.
Anthony C. Weagley, the CEO and President of Malvern Bank, National Association, attended the check presentation. Malvern Bank sponsors Curing Kids Cancer’s annual fundraising events and has provided grants to the organization through its charitable foundation.
