First Resource Bank is one of several companies in Chester County, as well as the only bank here, that have found a place on this year’s list of the Best Places to Work in Greater Philadelphia, write Craig Ey and Clara Lefton for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The list is compiled every year by the Philadelphia Business Journal and Quantum Workplace. The program differs from other similar awards as it uses an employee engagement survey as the only scoring mechanism. It was developed by experts in survey research methodology and organizational psychology and is regularly updated.

This year, a record number of companies applied, and the following Chester County companies made the listing, which is divided by company size.

Small companies (10 to 49 employees):
