Several CEOs in Chester County earn more than 100 times the median pay at their companies, writes Kennedy Rose for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Median pay is calculated by determining the midpoint pay of all the company’s employees, not including the CEO.

The largest difference in Chester County is at Malvern-based Vishay Intertechnology, where the CEO earns $7,106,112. That is 383 times the company’s median pay of $18,540.

Next is the CEO of Chesterbrook-based AmerisourceBergen with $11,514,115, which is 203 times the company’s median pay of $56,892.

The top three is rounded out by the CEO of Malvern’s CubeSmart, who earns $4,142,226 or 147 times the company’s median pay of $28,148.

Other Chester County companies with CEOs who earn more than 100 times the median pay at their companies are Wayne-based Teleflex, Exton’s West Pharmaceuticals, and Berwyn’s Ametek and Trinseo.

Meanwhile, the CEO-to-employee pay ratio is 90.8:1 at Triumph Group in Berwyn, followed by Malvern’s BioTelemetry at 74:1, Kennett Square’s Genesis HealthCare at72:1, Malvern-based PQ Group Holdings at 62:1, and Malvern’s Vishary Precision Group at 60:1.
