Wellness Wednesday: How to Gain the Energy You Deserve

Are you tired, feeling run down or struggling in your own skin?  I know exactly how you feel.  I too at one point felt the same way.  But I realized that in order for me to be able to give to my family, I was going to have to make sure my well was full at all times.

As a mom of three daughters, energy is required!  When they were little, I was introduced to a nutrition program that I still follow to this day.  It is all about nutritionally rebalancing my body, riding myself of the impurities and optimizing the food I put in my body.  At age 38 I’ve never felt more fit, healthy or happy!

My top 3 tips to gaining the energy you so deserve:

  1. Find and subscribe to a nutritional program that works for you. Make sure the food you are putting in your body is the best fuel for your lifestyle.  Don’t put cheap food and expect pristine results.
  2. Everything in moderation. Listen, I love a good glass of wine or ice cream with my girls at Milky Way Farms but everything in moderation.  Indulge in the things you love and learn to appreciate them.
  3. Move your body. Find a class at the gym, join a local running group or grab an accountability partner and get sweaty in the park.

Incorporate these few changes and be sure to see the brain fog lifted and your energy and confidence through the roof!
