Techstars Startup Weekend – a 54-hour event where designers, developers, marketers, and startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas, form teams, and launch startups – is considered the world’s starting point for entrepreneurship.

Since 2009, Techstars Startup Weekends have been held in 150 countries, with more than 193,000 people participating across 2,900 events. Locally, Penn State Great Valley – in conjunction with the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Entrepreneurial Leadership Center at West Chester University and the Chester County Economic Development Council – will host one of these immersive weekend-long events that center on action, innovation, education, and discovery.

From May 31-June 2, Penn State Great Valley will be the site of Chester County Startup Weekend, which will include workshops, guest speakers, and networking opportunities, all in addition to the startup competition.

Whether they’re developers, designers, or business-focused, attendees build close relationships with the companies that sponsor. The event will provide a channel to hire and find new employees, as well as exposure and marketing to early-stage companies and entrepreneurs.

Three levels of sponsorship are available:
