In Vintage Video, Reagan Calls Freedoms Foundation’s Flag a ‘Banner of Hope’ to All Who Love Freedom

By

Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge premiered its latest promotional video, A Banner of Hope, at its annual gala, An Evening with Freedoms Foundation, on April 15.

Ronald Reagan makes a guest appearance in the film, which features dramatic drone footage of the Foundation’s lush campus and 42-acre Medal of Honor Grove.

Reagan was honorary chairman of the Foundation during his presidency, and a video he did for the organization was recently rediscovered at his Presidential Library in California.

Clips from that vintage ‘80s video have been edited into the new video, which was produced by the Neue Agency of Philadelphia.

Freedoms Foundation, based in Schuylkill Township on Route 23 between Phoenixville and Valley Forge National Park, is an educational nonprofit offering programs for students and teachers on the history and ideals of the American founding and their relevance today.
