Child Guidance Resource Centers to Host Annual Fundraising Gala on April 26

By

Child Guidance Resource Centers, a behavioral health nonprofit based in Havertown with additional locations in Coatesville and Philadelphia, will host its annual fundraising gala on Friday, April 26 at the Springfield Country Club.

Through its signature event – a Black and White Ball with the theme “Shine a Light, Wear White, Giving Back Is the New Black” – Child Guidance hopes to shine a light on the need for mental healthcare for everyone.

There will be food, live entertainment, live and silent auctions, and plenty of fun. One hundred percent of all proceeds go directly toward Child Guidance’s mission to inspire hope, empower, and contribute to the well-being of children, families, and adults.

Child Guidance delivers evidence-informed behavioral health services and community-wide wellness programs. It is committed to providing the most therapeutically appropriate services to meet client needs. However, that has become difficult in recent years due to stagnant reimbursement rates and cuts in state funding for mental healthcare.

“The annual gala is our biggest fundraising effort of the year,” said Committee Chair Tiiu Lutter. “We hope people will join us for a memorable evening of giving back while bonding with our community of friends, as we shine a light on the importance of providing mental health services to everyone.”
