Those looking to have a good time for St. Patrick’s Day do not have to go far, as Philadelphia offers some of the best celebrations in the nation, according to analysis by WalletHub.

The City of Brotherly love is second on 2019’s Best Cities for St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations. WalletHub compared 200 of the nation’s largest cities across four key dimensions: St. Patrick’s Day Traditions, Costs, Safety & Accessibility, and St. Patrick’s Day Weather.

These were then evaluated using 17 relevant metrics, including St. Patrick’s Day parades, share of Irish population, average prices for party tickets, traffic, and average temperature.

Philadelphia had its best showing in St. Patrick’s Day Traditions, placing fifth. It was also fifth for most Irish pubs and restaurants per capita.

According to the list, the best place in the nation to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is Chicago.
